Tax done right, and done on time.

Most tax stress comes from not knowing what's due or what you owe until it's too late. As your tax accountant, we keep your lodgements on schedule, claim what you're entitled to and tell you what's coming before it arrives, especially when we also look after your small business bookkeeping.

Questions.

Straight answers about tax and lodging with us.

Q1

What does a tax accountant do?

A tax accountant prepares and lodges your tax returns and BAS, makes sure you claim what you're entitled to, keeps you on the right side of the ATO and helps you plan so the bill isn't a surprise.

Q2

When is my tax return due?

If you lodge yourself, individual returns are due by 31 October. If you're with a registered tax agent before then, you can usually lodge later under the agent lodgement program.

Q3

How much does a tax accountant cost?

We don't charge by the hour. We quote a fixed fee upfront based on what you need, so you know the cost before we start.

Q4

Can you help with a letter or debt from the ATO?

Yes. We'll read it with you, deal with the ATO on your behalf and, if you owe money, help set up a payment plan you can keep.

Q5

Do you do personal tax returns as well as business?

Yes. We prepare individual tax returns as well as returns for sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships, so your business and personal tax are handled together.

Q6

Do you work with property investors?

Yes. We prepare rental property schedules, arrange depreciation and work out capital gains when you sell, so you claim what you're entitled to and pay only what's due.
